This unabashedly American company, now taken over by the Swatch group has been producing original time pieces since 1892 from its base in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The people at Hamilton pride themselves on a truly American spirit and a penchant for the latest Swiss movements and technology. Hamilton produces two lines of watches for men, the Khaki and American Classic. The Khaki line is a tribute to the three forces land, sea and air who served in the two world wars.
An environment friendly company, it has also launched Khaki Conservation with Harrison Ford to support Conservation International. The American Classic line features the path breaking designs of Everest, Ventura and Lloyd, and the older ones such as Trent, Dodson, and Ardmore. The American classic has been sported by a host of celebrities, including Elvis Presley. The Jazz master line is inspired by the American art form, lending a smooth style which is solid and strong, yet pleasant.
