Festina Watches
Established in 1902 initially at Switzerland with the motto “Festina Lente” (which means hasten slowly), these watches are now available in about 50 different countries. It was taken over in 1984 by a Spanish industrialist named Miguel Rodriguez who already owned another reputed watch company named Lotus watches. Since then, the company is headquartered in Barcelona (Spain) though it still ties closely with Switzerland where it originated.
Festina is the official timekeeper for The Tour de Suisse, The Tour de France, The Tour de Romandie. It is also well known for sponsoring the Festina cycling team between the years 1989 and 2001.
